Corecasys installs WiFi HotSpot Server as a central authentication system for secure, controllable WiFi internet access. Users must log in through a web portal before going online. The system identifies users, applies per-user speed limits and stores complete usage logs under the Computer Crime Act B.E. 2560. It is ideal for offices, hotels, apartments, shopping centers and public venues that need standards-based WiFi.
Compliant logging
Store internet usage logs that meet Computer Crime Act B.E. 2560 requirements, with reporting and historical search.
Per-user speed limits
Set flexible bandwidth limits per user so one heavy user cannot degrade the whole network.
Supports 1,000+ users
Designed for 1,000 or more concurrent users — suitable for high-density venues.
Binary Transparent Proxy
Save bandwidth with a built-in binary-level proxy that outperforms typical file proxies at an accessible price.
How the system works
The HotSpot Server sits between the router and switches. Client devices receive an IP automatically, but cannot reach the internet until they open a browser and log in with a username and password on the portal page.
Logging under Act B.E. 2560
- Record each user’s internet activity (user, time, IP and destination).
- Support historical log search for the retention period required by law.
- Help organizations comply systematically with the Computer Crime Act B.E. 2560.
- Ideal for ISPs, hotels, apartments and offices that need usage evidence.
Per-user bandwidth control
- Set upload and download speeds by user or user group.
- Allocate internet resources fairly in high-traffic areas.
- Reduce cases where heavy downloaders affect other users.
- Support paid packages with different speed tiers.
High concurrent capacity
The system is designed for 1,000 or more concurrent users. It is suitable for shopping centers, universities, large hotels and office buildings with many WiFi access points, while keeping authentication and logging stable.
Use cases
- Paid WiFi in restaurants, cafés or public venues.
- WiFi for office staff and visitors with identifiable user accounts.
- Hotel, apartment and dormitory WiFi with accounts per room or tenant.
- Locations required by law to retain internet usage logs.
A key strength of NJ Network’s HotSpot Server is its built-in Binary Transparent Proxy, which saves bandwidth efficiently. When many users request the same content, the proxy fetches it once and serves it to the others, reducing real internet-link usage. On typical enterprise appliances this capability is often called a WAN Optimizer and costs millions, but our HotSpot delivers it at an accessible price.
